Principal's Message

What a privilege it is for Christian teachers to influence Christian young people. We have an awesome responsibility here at Louisville Adventist Academy. We take that responsibility seriously. School is not just about learning how to read, write, or do math. Students learn life lessons every day. Lessons on how to function in society, how to relate to others, and how to be a part of a larger Christian family.

I once had a table that looked very nice in my dining room. The wood table matched the wood floor perfectly. Unfortunately, one leg of the table was shorter than the other three. Every time something was placed on the table that was round, it rolled right to the end of the table and hit the floor. Students are not much different. If we raise them to be well-groomed, intelligent and physically fit young people who do not have a relationship with Jesus, where will they roll? What have we accomplished? A well-rounded, Christian student is a successful student.

Our prayer at Louisville Adventist Academy is that our students learn life lessons and become physically fit, along with learning their math, science, and English lessons; however, our ultimate goal is for our students to establish a relationship with Jesus Christ. When the student accomplishes this, then we have accomplished our goal.
